The return of Group Hug, the first ever wine we made twice! This year, it’s a blend of Gravenstein apples & Zinfandel.
The apples come from an abandoned orchid in Sebastopol, that our friends at Bardos have been gleaning fruit from. This change of site has improved the profile of the wine since last year’s release. This year’s bottle is, frankly, way better. It’s a sparkling wine that shines through with watermelon Jolly Rancher on the nose and acidic, zinging apple blossoms on the palate.
Get it chilled and drink it with pizza, or while you’re roasting a chicken at home.
